1. Data Privacy Regulations in Idaho

What is the current state of data privacy laws in Idaho? Although Idaho doesn’t offer the same level of privacy protection as California or the European Union (“EU”), the state has taken some measures to protect customer data. For example, Title 28-51-105 states that businesses must inform clients of any known security breach. So, if client information (social security number, payment information, name/address, and/or driver’s license number) were to be illegally accessed, businesses must notify customers within a reasonable time frame.

But the relative strictness or laxity of a state’s privacy laws hardly matters when you hire Idaho Registered Agent LLC. Our team is 100% dedicated to making sure our online system is safe and secure, and we never sell data to third-party marketing firms. Read on to discover more.

Our security is built to protect data from unauthorized access, theft, or loss while still prioritizing availability to ensure that systems and data are accessible when needed through the processing of data accurately and completely. We also place an emphasis on confidentiality by limiting access to data based on authorized roles allowing us to protect client privacy through the safeguarding of individuals’ personal information.
